Soft Commodities Trader (mid-senior level)

A global trading group is expanding its soft commodities division and seeking a talented Mid–Senior Level Trader to help build and grow new business lines within the agricultural and coffee sectors.

This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial professional with a strong market reputation, deep industry relationships, and a proven ability to originate and manage profitable trading flows.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a trading book within the soft commodities segment (agricultural and/or coffee focus)
• Identify and capture new business opportunities as part of the firm’s strategic expansion
• Build and maintain strong relationships with producers, clients, and market partners
• Contribute to the setup of new trading desks and business structures
• Provide market insights and strategic input to senior management

Profile

• 5–10 years of trading experience in soft commodities, ideally in agricultural or coffee markets
• Demonstrated track record of commercial success and business development
• Strong network across the global soft commodity value chain
• Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on execution and growth orientation
• Fluent in English; other languages advantageous
