Job Purpose:

The Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing client relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth. This role involves identifying customer needs, presenting appropriate solutions, and driving sales performance.

Requirements
  • Experience in the finance and payments industry is required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a client management/client success/sales B2B role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and understandably to the audience.
  • Higher education in business management, economics, or a related field would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of client accounts.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients by providing tailored solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell products and services.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of services.
  • Prepare regular reports and forecasts for management.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, company products, and services.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through regular follow-up and proactive communication.
  • Handle contract negotiations and renewals.
Sub Tasks
  • Respond promptly and effectively to client inquiries, providing clear and accurate information on products and services.
  • Conduct client onboarding, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience through training and guidance.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to coordinate client needs and streamline processes.
  • Prepare pricing, manage refunds, and handle contract adaptations with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Apply knowledge of contract terms and legal frameworks to ensure compliance in client transactions.
  • Maintain strong communication and responsiveness, fostering positive client relationships.
  • Utilize onboarding tools and internal processes to enhance client experience and operational efficiency.
