About the Role:
As a Subregional Head Buyer Central Europe (m/f/d) at Digital Realty, you’ll be at the forefront of transforming procurement operations across multiple countries within your assigned subregion. Leading a team of Subregional Buyers, you'll oversee procurement execution, supplier management, and tactical sourcing strategies — all while driving compliance, efficiency, and cost optimization.

, support a major IT system rollout, and lead key change management initiatives in a high-impact environment.
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of Subregional Buyers; foster a collaborative, high-performing environment.
- Procurement Operations: Oversee tactical sourcing, PO creation, and supplier management across multiple countries.
- Delivery & Inventory Management: Ensure timely deliveries, manage vendor inventory levels, and support project timelines.
- Invoice & Budget Oversight: Verify invoices, resolve discrepancies, support budget goals, and ensure cost control.
- Performance Reporting: Track procurement KPIs and supplier performance; ensure compliance with SLAs.
- Change Management & Training: Drive adoption of new systems and processes; deliver targeted procurement training.
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field; experience in procurement and in leadership.
- Technical
Skills:
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. - Analytical & Financial Acumen: Detail-oriented with experience in contract negotiation and financial analysis.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities; adaptable and proactive in fast-paced environments.
- Languages: Fluent in both German and English (spoken and written).
