At Julius Baer, we invest deeply in our people. Joining the Learning and People Development team, you will provide essential administrative and operational support in delivering training programmes for our front teams worldwide. This hands‑on role involves coordinating logistics, maintaining training records, preparing materials, hosting sessions, and supporting day‑to‑day activities to ensure smooth execution of learning initiatives that strengthen advisory capabilities, product knowledge, and client service standards.
YOURCHALLENGE
- Manage, coordinate, and administer the training & development offering for Relationship Managers and other front office employees in Switzerland and in global locations of the bank, covering a broad range of topics in advisory, sales, products and services
- Be responsible for training facilities and logistics at the Julius Baer Academy in Zurich, including room set‑up, technical equipment, office/training material
- Serve as first point of contact for internal stakeholders, guest trainers, and visiting subject matter experts by managing visitor sign‑ins, calls, and day‑of‑event queries
- Contribute to the monthly onboarding programme for new hires, providing logistical and onsite support
- Actively engage in learning & development initiatives of the Julius Baer Academy to foster lifelong learning of employees and strengthen the competitive advantage of the Bank
- Completed commercial apprenticeship (EFZ) or equivalent qualification, ideally complemented by additional studies or certifications in business administration, banking, human resources, pedagogy, psychology, or adult learning
- Minimum of 2‑5 years working experience, preferably with 1‑2 years within a corporate learning & development environment, wealth management or private banking
- Prior exposure to front office areas (advisory, Relationship Management support, client servicing) is an advantage
- Experience in coordinating training initiatives, stakeholder management, and event logistics
- Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail and the flexibility to start early (7:00 am), if needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Workday preferred
- Fluent in German and English
- Client‑centric mindset with a genuine commitment to service excellence
- Proactive, solution‑oriented, and hands‑on; someone who takes initiative and follows through reliably ("can‑do" attitude)
