About

The Role

As Key Account Manager at YAPEAL, you are the central point of contact for our Embedded Finance customers. You will manage customer projects from planning to successful implementation and ensure customer satisfaction through proactive relationship management.

In this role, you take responsibility for the entire customer lifecycle. You analyze customer needs, develop customized solutions, and build long-term partnerships by acting as a proactive Sales Consultant to drive strategic growth and lead upselling for existing accounts.

  • Project Management:
    Planning, controlling, and implementing customer projects in the area of Embedded Finance (time management, budget control, resource management)
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    Establishing and maintaining long-term customer relationships, regular communication, and close cooperation with contact persons
  • Contract Management:
    Managing the contracts for our customers, including drafting agreements, leading negotiations, and driving alignment with internal stakeholders to close deals
  • Solution Design:
    Analyzing customer needs and developing individual solutions in collaboration with internal teams
  • Proactive Support:
    Continuous support of existing customers, identification of upselling and cross-selling potential and actively driving these opportunities to closure using a consultative selling approach
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    Creating reports and analyses to measure success and optimize customer support
  • Communication:
    Effective communication and collaboration with customers and internal teams (sales, product development, etc.)
Who We’re Looking For
  • Experience:

    Several years of proven experience in project management and customer relationship management, ideally in the financial or IT sector
  • Project Management

    Skills:

    Sound knowledge of project management methods and tools
  • CRM Expertise:
    Experience in building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Ability to communicate effectively at C-Level and translate complex technical concepts (like API integrations) into clear business value and ROI for the customer
  • Analytical Thinking:
    Ability to analyze data and derive recommendations for action
  • Customer Orientation:
    High empathy and very strong customer orientation - relentless focus on ‘customer first’
  • Organizational and Planning

    Skills:

    Structured and organized way of working
  • Problem-Solving

    Skills:

    Ability to identify challenges and find solutions
  • Hands-on Mentality and Ownership:
    Ability to creatively leverage resources and willingness to 'get your hands dirty'
  • Languages:

    Fluency in (Swiss-) German and English is a must, other languages are of course an advantage
