TasksThe Process Improvement Specialist is responsible for driving a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. The role focuses on identifying inefficiencies, optimizing processes, and enabling teams to work more effectively through Kaizen principles.
The position plays a key role in facilitating structured improvement initiatives such as Brown Paper workshops, enabling cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring sustainable implementation of process improvements. The ultimate goal is to increase efficiency, transparency, and quality across IT and business operations.
Responsibilities and Key Tasks- Drive Kaizen mindset and continuous improvement culture across the organization
- Plan, facilitate, and moderate Brown Paper workshops and process mapping sessions
- Analyze end-to-end processes and identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste
- Apply Lean methodologies (5S, Value Stream Mapping, Waste Reduction)
- Work closely with IT, business, and management to define improvement initiatives
- Ensure implementation and sustainability of process improvements
- Track and measure improvement success (KPIs, efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Enable teams through coaching and training in Kaizen and Lean principles
- Identify automation opportunities in collaboration with IT teams
- Create transparency of processes, improvements, and progress (dashboards, Confluence)
- Support strategic initiatives to improve operational excellence
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment and collaboration
Professional Requirements
- Degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or comparable qualification
- Proven experience in process improvement, Kaizen, or Lean management
- Hands‑on experience with Brown Paper workshops and process mapping
- Experience in IT or financial services environments is a plus
- Understanding of IT processes, systems, and operational workflows
- Experience with tools such as Confluence, Jira, or similar platforms
Methodological Skills
- Strong knowledge of Lean principles (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping)
- Analytical and structured problem‑solving approach
- Ability to identify waste and inefficiencies in complex environments
- Experience in defining and tracking KPIs
- Strong facilitation and workshop moderation skills
