The Engagement Manager (EM) is fully accountable for the engagement strategy, commercial performance, and client relationship of assigned accounts or industry portfolios. The role ensures Chain IQ delivers sustainable value by aligning client objectives, contractual commitments, and strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities Account Strategy & Ownership- Own and continuously evolve the overall account strategy.
- Steer and approve strategic initiatives, transformations, and roadmap activities.
- Ensure alignment between client goals and Chain IQ strategic priorities.
- Oversee contractually agreed KPIs and drive corrective actions where needed.
- Lead strategic governance forums (e.g., steering committees, executive reviews).
- Oversee major risks, issues, and dependencies affecting the client or contract.
- Own account‑level P&L, commercial performance, and business case delivery.
- Monitor profitability, savings, and value realization.
- Support contract negotiations and contribute to account growth opportunities.
- Lead and develop team of Operations Managers.
- Align internal teams around the account strategy and priorities.
- Resolve cross‑functional issues and manage escalation paths.
- 8+ years in consulting or SCM/Procurement related leadership roles.
- Track record in commercial ownership (specifically on cost‑side).
- Solid understanding of procurement, outsourcing, and value delivery models.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen (KPIs, savings, profitability, forecasting).
- Ability to lead cross‑functional teams with and without formal authority.
- Strong executive‑level communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Client‑centric, value‑oriented professional services approach.
- Hands‑on ownership mindset with high accountability and follow‑through.
- Collaborative, influence‑driven, and solution‑oriented.
