Business Analyst

Luxoft is a global technology and digital engineering company. We are looking for an experienced REMIT SME / Business Analyst to join a European energy & commodities organisation on a permanent, unlimited contract
.

• Assess current REMIT processes, controls and operating practices
• Perform regulatory gap assessments and identify compliance/operational risks
• Translate REMIT requirements into practical business processes, controls and procedures
• Define target-state operating models with Compliance, Trading, Operations, Risk and Technology
• Develop and prioritise remediation actions and implementation roadmaps
• Support regulatory remediation from design through implementation and closure
• Work on areas such as transaction & fundamental data reporting, market conduct, market abuse, inside information and disclosure obligations
• Gather business requirements, map processes and support changes to systems, data and controls
• Coordinate REMIT implementation across multiple branches/legal entities

• Strong practical knowledge of REMIT and European energy/commodity market regulation
• Experience in energy and/or commodities trading
• Good understanding of the trade lifecycle and operational processes
• Proven experience translating regulations into business processes and controls
• Experience with regulatory gap assessments, compliance programmes, audits or remediation projects
• Strong Business Analysis skills: requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis and stakeholder management
• Experience working with Compliance, Front Office/Trading, Operations and Technology
