Senior Business Analyst

Project: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst for Market Conduct & Trade Surveillance (MCTS) to develop a strategic vision. The focus will be on analyzing the existing landscape, structuring complex stakeholder requirements, and developing a future-proof framework for processes, organization, data, governance, and systems.

Not a purely L&C or IT role – strategic conception, analytical strength, stakeholder management and the ability to condense complex information into a decision-making-ready target picture are crucial.

• Development of a strategic target vision for MCTS
• Analysis of existing processes, organization, systems, data, governance and maturity levels
• Intake and consolidation of requirements from L&C, Risk, Trading and IT
• Development of a Target Operating Model (TOM) including gap analysis and action options.
• Derivation of strategic principles, use cases and future requirements
• Assessment of impacts, risks, dependencies and trade-offs
• Creation of an implementation roadmap with milestones and responsibilities
• Presentation of results to the program management and steering board

• Further development of MCTS with a focus on risk management, data quality, and monitoring efficiency. This includes, in particular, the reduction of false positives,
• Automation of alert processing, integration of relevant communication and market data, and expansion of analytics and simulation capabilities.
• At the same time, the organization, governance, processes and systems should be further developed to be future-proof.

• 12+ years of professional experience in business analysis, management consulting, strategy, or similar fields.
• Experience in developing strategic visions, North Stars or TOMs
• Experience in a C-level/executive environment
• Very strong analytical, conceptual and methodological skills
• Ability to structure complex information and condense it in a way that is suitable for management.
• Experience in interdisciplinary stakeholder management
• Experience with gap analyses, decision-making frameworks, and strategic roadmaps
• High level of independence, personal responsibility and assertiveness
• Confident demeanor when dealing with senior stakeholders and decision-making bodies
• Experience in the banking/finance sector is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Legal & Compliance / MCTS / Trade Surveillance is an advantage, but not a requirement.
