• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
• 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
• Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.

• Master's degree, MBA, or advanced degree in a technical or business-related field.
• Experience building AI-native consumer products, conversational AI interfaces, or applications leveraging Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic workflows (e.g., tool use, grounding, structured outputs).
• Experience in e-commerce, digital marketplaces, or consumer discovery/search products.
• Proven track record of navigating ambiguity and successfully driving cross-functional alignment across multiple partner organizations and product areas.
• Deep curiosity and understanding of the evolving landscape of conversational commerce and retail technology.
• Strong user empathy, product design intuition, and high accuracy in data analysis, experiment design, and LLM evaluation methodologies.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

Users come first here is this more important than on our Advertising and Commerce team: we believe that ads and commercial information can be highly useful to our users if that information is relevant to what our users wish to find or do. Advertisers worldwide use Google Ads to promote their products; publishers use AdSense to serve relevant ads on their website;

and business around the world use our products (like Google Shopping, and Google Wallet) to support their online businesses and bring users into their offline stores. We are constantly innovating to deliver the most effective advertising and commerce opportunities of tomorrow.

• Define and drive the product roadmap for shopping capabilities within Gemini, identifying user needs and high-impact opportunities for conversational shopping.
• Guide features from initial concept, UX exploration, and prototyping through launch and continuous iteration at Google scale.
• Partner with UX and Engineering to design intuitive conversational paradigms, interactive product cards, visual browsing, and agentic workflows (e.g., automated comparison, personalized curation, streamlined checkout).
• Establish evaluation frameworks, quality benchmarks, and safety/grounding standards to ensure shopping recommendations in Gemini are accurate, unbiased, trustworthy, and actionable.
• Partner seamlessly across Google Commerce, Gemini and Merchant platforms to drive strategic alignment, technical integration, and shared
  
  Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
