Aboutthe role
We are looking for a Product Manager Risk Technology to own and evolve critical front to back capabilities across Trading and Lending. This role sits at the intersection of business, technology and architecture and is pivotal for ensuring that complex workflows work seamlessly across multiple banking systems.
As Product Manager Risk Technology you will lead the evolution of our most critical platforms at Sygnum such as our proprietary Risk Management Systems, Market Data solution, and Real‑time Balance Service, including complex features such as automated liquidation engine.
This is a hands‑on role for someone with deep banking process knowledge, strong product ownership, technical fluency, and the ability to lead a scrum team while staying close to analysis, design and delivery.
In this role you will:- Define and own the product vision and roadmap, with a strong focus on front-to-back flows.
- Design and evolve complex banking workflows across trading, lending, risk, market data and core banking.
- Translate regulatory, risk and business requirements into clear, implementable solutions.
- Drive delivery of sophisticated initiatives such as automated margin monitoring, margin calls and liquidation engines.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, ensuring solutions are scalable, resilient and aligned with target architecture.
- Run hands‑on scrum ceremonies: backlog ownership, refinement, prioritization, acceptance criteria and sprint execution.
- Serve as the primary bridge between business, engineering, architecture and operations.
- Manage cross‑team dependencies across Trading, Credit & Lending, Custody, Risk, Finance, Operations and Core Banking.
- Own end-to-end testing coverage, from functional and integration testing through to business validation.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and cost efficiency.
- Proven experience owning front‑to‑back banking flows, ideally across trading, lending, risk, market data and/or core banking environments
