Infrastructure Investments Associate - European Focus

About our client

Our client is a foundation-owned investment group, focused on private equity, long‑term equity, real estate, infrastructure, and liquid assets. They manage a €3bn investment mandate across all infrastructure sectors throughout Europe, backed by a single LP. The firm takes a long‑term investment approach with a strong focus on sustainable growth and value creation.

The team is a direct investor working across the full investment lifecycle, including origination, execution, portfolio management, and value creation initiatives. They are supported by an ambitious and international team focused on building and growing a differentiated infrastructure investment franchise. The team is looking for an additional member in Zurich to support ongoing investment activities from origination and investment analysis (qualitative and quantitative), through to execution and helping drive portfolio value creation initiatives.

• Full deal process, from origination through to execution and portfolio management.
• Coordinating external advisors and reporting on due diligence.
• Evaluating and screening investment opportunities.

• Previous 3-4 years of M&A experience gained in an investment bank or a top 4 management consultancy.
• Prior experience with, or keen interest in, infrastructure.
• Excellent communication skills with competence to work both independently and with a team.
• Practical and approachable with a strong affinity for technical detail.
• Fluency in European languages is a plus.
