The Lombard Lending Client Advisor & Coordinator plays a critical role in loan origination, credit and collateral assessment, Lombard loan structuring, and first‑line credit monitoring, while also contributing to Lombard product development and growth.
Key Responsibilities- Advise clients in tandem with Front on credit opportunities aligned with their financial objectives and risk profiles.
- Analyse Lombard collateral risk and client top‑up capability, coordinating with Front units and clients to gather necessary financial information.
- Work at the intersection of Front, Credit Structuring, and Credit Risk Management to enable Lombard lending growth.
- Develop and maintain Front and client relationships to promote additional Lombard credit products and services.
- Create and monitor new Lombard product policies and first‑line monitoring processes.
- Enhance marketing material, brochures, internal and external presentations, and intranet pages to promote Lombard Lending globally.
- Coordinate regional Lombard campaigns and support product investment solution units in advisory, wealth planning, cross‑asset sale, and trading.
- Provide Lombard training to client‑facing staff to identify lending needs and advise clients appropriately.
- Client‑mindset with a proactive and solution‑oriented approach.
- In‑depth knowledge of Lombard credit principles, structuring, policies, regulations, and industry practices.
- Experience creating special product‑related LTV campaigns and new product credit policies for specific Lombard lending areas.
- Client‑facing and advisory experience negotiating and structuring Lombard solutions (cash, guarantee, and derivative trading).
- Understanding of monitoring aspects of Lombard exposure risk management from collateral and client top‑up perspectives.
- Experience in Lombard simulation and monitoring tool development to enhance client lifecycle management.
- Experience with Lombard pricing models, pricing exception approval processes, and commercial aspects related to Lombard pricing.
- Flavour in marketing to enhance Lombard promotion material (brochures, presentations, intranet, case studies, & training).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bloomberg, and other relevant software.
- Relevant experience in a Lombard credit‑related role, preferably in a large bank with significant Lombard exposure to high‑net‑worth clients.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; university degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
