Position: Transfer Pricing Manager Financial services 80 – 100%
Location: Zürich

Overview

The Transfer Pricing Manager will manage and coordinate multi‑country transfer pricing projects for multinational groups within the Financial Services sector. The role involves designing and optimizing business models, implementing global strategies, and advising clients on transfer pricing policies, governance, and dispute resolution. The manager works closely with senior stakeholders and leads complex projects across jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, direct, and coordinate multi‑country transfer pricing projects for multinational groups.
  • Develop concepts for new business models or optimize existing ones and oversee their global implementation.
  • Scope, plan, and deliver solutions for leading companies across diverse industries.
  • Review and assess global value chains and business models (flows of products, services, IP) to identify client needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Advise clients on setting and defending transfer pricing policies, governance, documentation, and technology solutions.
  • Support dispute resolution assignments and negotiate advance rulings with tax authorities.
  • Contribute to business development by winning work and developing service offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and leverage the global transfer pricing network to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on transfer pricing principles.
Required Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Law, or an equivalent field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in transfer pricing, in a consultancy or financial services environment.
  • Proven experience managing and coordinating multi‑country transfer pricing projects.
  • Strong knowledge of OECD guidelines and local tax regulations.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German strongly preferred, French also a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to work with data, conduct research, and draft industry analyses.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel; experience with TP software is a plus.
  • Leadership capability and willingness to take responsibility for teams or areas of expertise.
  • Result‑oriented mindset with adaptability and persistence in complex situations.
