Head of Non-Financial Reporting
Architect a world‑class reporting ecosystem that harmonizes regulatory requirements and positions sustainability at the heart of financial and strategic decision‑making. Serve as a strategic partner bridging finance and sustainability while building investor confidence in non‑financial performance and disclosures.
Responsibilities- Own non‑financial reporting (NFR) and execute a multi‑year NFR strategy aligned with the Swiss Code of Obligations, CSRD, ESRS, and emerging disclosure requirements.
- Lead the annual Non‑Financial Report production, translating complex sustainability data into clear, transparent insights for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor external regulatory developments, proactively advise on compliance implications, and maintain confidence with stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Sustainability, Legal, and Finance to seamlessly integrate NFR disclosures into reporting cycles and filings.
- Lead Double Materiality Assessment across the value chain, facilitate stakeholder engagement, and translate findings into reporting priorities and strategic insights.
- Establish a financial‑grade control environment for non‑financial data, implement a global data governance framework, and drive a culture of data accountability.
- Manage relationships with external auditors for assurance of non‑financial disclosures, ensuring metrics are backed by verifiable evidence.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert on evolving NFR transparency, collaborate with Investor Relations on inquiries and rating agency submissions, and support Board and Audit Committee reporting.
- Represent the reporting function in governance forums, contribute to broader strategy, and mentor the NFR team to foster growth within a high‑performance environment.
- 10+ years of external reporting experience, with at least 3 years in sustainability reporting, audit, sustainability consulting, or a related discipline, preferably in a fast‑growing international environment.
- Strong working knowledge of NFR standards and frameworks (Swiss Code of Obligations, CSRD/ESRS, GRI, SASB) and experience conducting DMAs.
- Deep understanding of data governance, internal controls, audit readiness, and assurance processes.
- Hands‑on, detail‑oriented, adept at embedding teams and driving complex reporting initiatives to completion.
- Strategic builder with a proven track record leading or scaling a NFR function, capable of building playbooks from scratch.
- Collaborative, approachable, and able to build trust and influence through partnership and strategic project management.
- Leadership skills to navigate multiple stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and influence outcomes across Finance, Sustainability, Legal, and Operations.
- Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders, translating technical requirements into clear, business‑relevant language.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to develop and implement a forward‑looking NFR strategy.
- Fluency in English.
