Location: Zürich
Our client is the tax department of an international bank in Zurich.
Specialist Tax Reporting for Fund-Investors 'GSA/DACH'
Aufgaben- Responsible for a demanding interface function in tax controlling and reporting for fund investments.
- Act as the tax link between fund management, investors and external advisers to ensure an optimal after‑tax return.
- Preparing, reviewing and providing tax‑related key figures in accordance with the German Investment Tax Act.
- Preparation and review of tax reports, including the calculation and provision of tax‑relevant data (e.g., capital participation ratio, partial exemptions).
- Support with fund structuring and due diligence reviews by the investment teams when launching new funds, through tax advice and guidance.
- Act as single point of contact, answering tax‑related queries from investors and supporting internal teams with day‑to‑day tax matters.
- Coordinating external service providers such as tax advisers or auditors, including quality control of their services for the annual German tax compliance process (e.g., preparation of tax returns).
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with international tax regulations such as the CRS (Common Reporting Standard) and AEOI (Automatic Exchange of Information).
- Ad hoc projects.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Tax Law & Finance.
- Further training in the field of taxation.
- Professional experience with an international fund manager, a custodian bank, a third‑party administrator, a Big Four audit firm or a tax consultancy firm.
- Analytical and team‑oriented personality with the ability to translate complex tax legislation into tax accounting logic.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and complete them on time with a customer‑focused approach.
- Coordination skills and a structured, proactive approach to work.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in IT and MS Office (Excel).
- German and English language proficiency.
