We build the future of SME finance through our Teylor Lending Platform, operating as both a direct digital lender and a technology partner empowering traditional financial institutions.

Our momentum has been on the rise through major strategic moves — securing up to €275 million in debt financing in 2023, acquiring German competitor Creditshelf in May 2024, and most recently integrating Grenke AG's entire factoring division across seven European countries in April 2025. We are becoming THE leading European SME financing platform.

We’re looking for a hands‑on Head of Finance (m/f/d) who gets things done. Your job is to turn complexity into clarity and fragmented setups into one scalable finance engine and make it work in day‑to‑day operations.

You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with leadership across all markets.

• Take ownership of the full finance setup across multiple entities
• Clean up, standardize and implement scalable processes
• Integrate new acquisitions into one consistent structure
• Make sure finance actually works operationally – not just on paper

• Build a reporting setup that creates real transparency
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Define KPIs that actually steer the business
• Deliver reliable numbers – fast

• Own accounting across all entities (HGB / IFRS consolidation)
• Manage closings hands‑on with internal & external partners
• Ensure data quality across systems (no Excel chaos long‑term)
• Be audit‑ and DD‑ready at any time

• Set up lean but robust tax and compliance structures
• Ensure compliance across multiple European jurisdictions
• Implement pragmatic internal controls (no over engineering)

• Build a small, strong internal finance core
• Steer external partners (accounting, tax, advisors)
• Create a scalable model: smart outsourcing + strong internal ownership

• Sparring partner to the CEO and leadership team
• Bring structure into decision‑making
• Translate numbers into actions

• Proven experience as Head of Finance / Senior Finance Leader in a fast‑growing environment
• Strong background in multi‑entity setups, scaling companies or fintech/startup environments
• Experience with M&A / Buy-and-Build / post‑merger integration
• Deep expertise in Accounting (HGB/IFRS), Controlling, Reporting
• You are hands‑on: you fix things yourself before delegating them
• Comfortable working with imperfect setups and building structure from there
• Strong understanding of European finance, tax and compliance environments
• Experience managing external providers across countries
• Fluent in English and German
