Avaloq Developer - Parametrization Specialist Regulatory Reporting

In our Reporting Services Team in Zurich, you'll join an experienced team managing numerous regulatory reporting services. As an Avaloq Parametrization Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Reporting Services Team within the Operation Services Department, collaborating closely with IT and business colleagues to achieve shared goals, take ownership of application components, address operational challenges, and contribute to ongoing projects.

• Parametrization in the core banking system, Avaloq, focusing on transaction and regulation reporting services under Swiss and European legislation.
• Perform additional Avaloq reporting parametrization activities such as derivative reporting requirements.
• Drive developments forward with business experts, perform in-depth requirements analyses, and implement new regulatory requirements and process innovations.
• Involve in solution design, programming, parametrization, and testing to ensure availability of business‑critical regulatory services and support bank‑wide platform projects.
• Pursue regulatory compliance, client satisfaction, quality improvement, efficiency gains, and ensure smooth operations.
• Show affinity for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and embrace AI‑enabled tools and ways of working.

• Several years of software engineering experience in the banking and finance sector.
• Relevant Avaloq parametrization experience and willingness to continuously acquire new knowledge.
• Initial experience with regulatory transaction reporting such as FinfraG, MiFID II, EMIR, and/or trading‑related knowledge (STEX) is beneficial.
• Enthusiasm for new technologies, motivation to master technical knowledge in the complex field of regulatory transaction reporting.
• Strong communication skills in English and German are mandatory.
• Strong teamwork skills, willingness to take ownership and personal growth.
• Good analytical skills, solution‑oriented mindset, ability to work independently.
