For a Swiss-based company active in complex, multi‑regional project development, I am currently looking for a Construction Controller to play a pivotal role in overseeing project financial performance, supporting cost planning activities, and ensuring effective monitoring of construction operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the preparation, validation, and ongoing review of project budgets and financial forecasts throughout the project lifecycle
- Track and analyze construction expenditures, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and identifying potential risks, deviations, or cost‑saving opportunities
- Monitor project progress against schedules and collaborate with operational teams to ensure timely delivery and resource optimization
- Develop and maintain reporting frameworks, dashboards, and performance indicators to provide visibility into project profitability, productivity, and financial health
- Review contractual variations, procurement commitments, and progress claims to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with project objectives
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing cost management processes, reporting standards, and financial controls across multiple projects
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or a related discipline
- Proven experience within construction, infrastructure, or real estate development environments, with a strong focus on project controlling, cost management, or financial oversight
- Solid understanding of budgeting methodologies, forecasting, cost analysis, and project financial reporting
- Ability to interpret technical project information and translate it into meaningful financial insights for management and operational stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with ERP systems, project management software, or construction‑related financial tools
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams
- Fluent Italian is required. Knowledge of German and/or French would be considered a strong advantage, while English proficiency is beneficial
