Responsibilities

SGSS Switzerland acts as Swiss Representative and Paying Agent of a portfolio of foreign funds (ETF and Non‑ETF) distributed in Switzerland, and incorporated outside of Switzerland.

Tasks and responsibilities
  • Support the activities of the regulatory team to ensure that all funds registered, listed and distributed in Switzerland are in compliance with applicable law and the relevant guidelines of the Swiss Funds and Asset Management Association (SFAMA); prepare the applications for submission to the authorities.
  • Contribute to listing requests and mandatory publications; autonomously manage applications (modification of the funds’ documentation, new registration, mergers, liquidations, etc.); coordinate the documents and verify Swiss mandatory contents.
  • Check marketing materials in accordance with Swiss requirements and self‑regulatory rules.
  • Monitor and ensure publication requirements of the legal documents.
  • Manage timelines while respecting deadlines.
  • Ensure appropriate communication with clients and counterparts.
  • Perform general administrative work.
Studies & experience
  • Experience in asset management, financial institutions, law and consultancy firms is considered an advantage.
  • 2–4 years of experience ideally in the field of Swiss representation, or dynamic, young professionals willing to learn.
Language skills
  • English: C1
  • German: C1
  • French language would be considered an advantage.
Technical, operational & Soft skills
  • Swiss fund regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge of Swiss financial market laws and regulations.
  • Accountability and ownership.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Reliability in deadline‑driven environments.
