Avaloq Developer - Parametrization Specialist Regulatory Reporting

In our Reporting Services Team in Zurich, you'll join an experienced team managing numerous regulatory reporting services. As an Avaloq Parametrization Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Reporting Services Team within the Operation Services Department. In this role, you will collaborate closely with your IT and business colleagues to achieve shared goals, take ownership of application components, address operational challenges, and contribute to ongoing projects.

You will play a key role in maintaining and expanding our core banking system, Avaloq, while driving innovation and operational excellence.

• Parametrization in our core banking system, Avaloq, with a primary focus on our transaction and regulation reporting services under Swiss and European legislation
• Perform additional Avaloq reporting parametrization activities such as derivative reporting requirements
• Drive developments forward together with the business experts, perform in-depth requirements analyses, implement new regulatory requirements and process innovations
• Get involved with solution design, as well as programming, parametrization, and testing to ensure the availability of business‑critical regulatory services and to support bank‑wide platform projects
• Pursue the shared goals of regulatory compliance, client satisfaction, quality improvement, efficiency gains, and ensure smooth operations
• Affinity for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and a willingness to embrace AI‑enabled tools and ways of working
• Several years of software engineering experience in the banking and finance sector
• Relevant Avaloq parametrization experience and a willingness to continuously acquire new knowledge in this area
• Initial experience with regulatory transaction reporting, such as FinfraG, MiFID II, EMIR, and/or trading related knowledge (STEX) would be beneficial
• Enthusiasm for new technologies, motivation to master technical knowledge in the complex field of regulatory transaction reporting and the ability to take responsibility
• Very good communication skills in English and German are mandatory
• Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to take ownership of your work and personal growth
• Good analytical skills, solution‑oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently
