Senior Tax Consultant

Contract:

6 month Maternity cover (potential extension)

Hybrid: 2 days in office

We are supporting an international life sciences organisation in hiring a Senior Tax Manager to cover a portfolio of European countries. This is a hands‑on role with a strong focus on direct tax, tax reporting, compliance, and audit management, including coverage of Switzerland and other key markets such as France, Italy and Greece.

• Manage corporate income tax compliance and reporting across multiple European countries, including Switzerland
• Lead and coordinate tax audits and act as key contact for tax authorities
• Provide practical tax advice to finance and business teams on transactions and operations
• Coordinate with the shared service centre and external providers
• Monitor tax legislation changes and assess business impact
• Support transfer pricing matters in collaboration with global teams
• Review contracts and business initiatives from a direct tax perspective

• Strong experience in direct tax, particularly corporate income tax and tax reporting
• Proven experience in tax compliance and audit defence in a multi-country environment
• Background in Big 4 or in-house tax within a multinational environment
• Solid understanding of European tax frameworks, ideally including Switzerland
