Private Wealth Operations – Trade and Transfer Operations – Senior Analyst – Zurich Overview
Senior Analyst role in Private Wealth Operations (Trade and Transfer Operations) based in Zurich. The role focuses on risk management, client experience, and efficient processing of client transfers and related operations within the PWM (Private Wealth Management) framework.
Job Summary & Responsibilities- Partner closely across the PWM Business and the global network to respond to client requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform client payment due diligence to safeguard client funds from external fraud risks.
- Work with PWM Business and External Counter parties to run Security Transfers for PWM clients in various markets and develop understanding of custody structures.
- Reconcile incoming client cash and collaborate with Agent Banks to support the bank’s Treasury function and flawless execution of high-priority client transactions.
- Participate in global projects across PWM Operations to drive function strategy and impact.
- Be entrepreneurial — contribute ideas to develop and improve processes.
- Apply a risk and control mindset to regularly review processes to mitigate risk and strengthen controls.
- Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of relevant work experience in financial services, in Operations (ideally Treasury, Asset Transfers, and/or Custody related services).
- Proven analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Aptitude for building relationships and communicating complex issues to a broad internal audience.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Fluency in written and spoken English;
German, Spanish, Italian, or French are advantageous. - Energetic, flexible, positive, diligent, organized, and committed to teamwork and excellence.
