Tax Associate

Our client is a highly specialised boutique consultancy that provides integrated legal, tax, audit, and business consulting solutions. In this role, you’ll take on responsibility for tax advisory work, collaborate closely with a range of interesting clients and contribute your specialist knowledge to a dynamic, international environment. The role offers varied responsibilities, interdisciplinary collaboration and opportunities for your professional development.

• Advising individuals and companies on tax matters – both nationally and internationally
• Responsibility for preparing tax returns and advising clients on general tax issues
• Carefully reviewing tax assessments and tax bills and identify opportunities for optimization
• Contributing to the preparation of tax rulings and tax structuring and applying your expertise in a targeted manner
• Dealing with issues relating to VAT, withholding tax and transfer pricing
• Being involved in cross-functional projects and work collaboratively with colleagues from the areas of fiduciary services (BPO), audit and legal advice

• You have a solid educational background in relevant studies
• You have previous experience in tax consultancy
• You want to develop your skills in the field of taxation, and you are aiming to undertake relevant further training in the medium term
• Full business fluency in English and German, both written and spoken is a must

• Experience in a fiduciary and/or consultancy environment
• Background in an international and entrepreneurial environment
• Familiarity with client advisory and working in cross-functional teams
