Redstone Commodity Search are working with an established international Commodities Trading House, in their search for Senior Proprietary Traders, specialising in European Gas to join the growing practice in Switzerland.

• Focus on trading the gas markets including analysing and seeking out new opportunities and trends.
• Execution of trades with proven strategies and risk tolerances.
• Manage, monitor, and comply with risk exposure.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and reporting within the Energy Markets.
• Refine, and develop trading strategies.
• Analysis of trading performance and trading metrics to ensure informed decisions are made.
• Role reports to the Head of Trading.

• Having a broad understanding of international Energy fundamentals.
• Quantitative/Algorithmic trading background preferred.
• Relevant trading experience in Gas.
• Analytical mindset and strong ability to navigate the markets.
• 3+ years of relevant proprietary trading experience, and having your own book previously.
• Master’s degree in finance, mathematics, economics, or a relevant field.
• Strong attention to detail, and numerical accuracy.
