Location: Zürich
The Assistant supports the Team and the Relationship Managers (RMs) with all Intermediaries & FO and end‑client requests on trading and operational aspects—with the objective of ensuring seamless operations and fast, competent, and complete responses.
Responsibilities- Place orders, handle client requests, execute payments, and place loans and deposits.
- Provide accurate and timely responses to enquiries and data requests, escalating to senior colleagues when necessary.
- Support the promotion and servicing of the dedicated Intermediaries & FO e‑channels, processing related requests and enquiries.
- Maintain and update records of client instructions, details, and preferences.
- Create system‑based reports for the RM.
- Process orders, trades, and transactions outside e‑channels and execute clients’ requests.
- Monitor the maturity list for deposits, loans, and trades—taking action where instructions are standard, and seeking instructions from the RM or client as required.
- Organise and follow up on client meetings, including logistics and document preparation.
- Support the RM in investigations and troubleshooting, maintaining close collaboration across bank internal teams and units.
- Adhere to compliance, legal guidelines, internal rules, regulations, and policies at all times and act as the first line of risk defence by raising concerns, following up on issues, and escalating when necessary.
- Foundational knowledge of financial markets, structure, function, legal/regulatory environment, and industry awareness.
- Proven experience engaging with financial intermediaries such as multi‑family offices and/or wealth managers, ideally within a private banking or asset management environment.
- Profound understanding of relevant products and services applicable to EAM clients, plus valuation principles.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work swiftly, independently, and accurately even under pressure.
- Proactive, friendly, solution‑oriented, and customer‑oriented attitude.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Professional appearance, high personal integrity, and risk‑awareness/ethical mindset.
- Very good MS Office skills.
- Strong fluency in English (oral and written) and other languages as required by the market.
