Finance Manager ​/ Senior Accountant - Automotive

Our client, an international automotive company with a strong presence in the Swiss market, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager / Senior Accountant to join its finance team.

This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional with solid expertise in Swiss accounting who is looking to broaden their responsibilities across finance, business partnering, and process improvement. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial compliance while helping to build scalable finance processes and support the company's continued growth.

• Manage the full accounting cycle and ensure compliance with Swiss statutory and tax regulations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and oversee month-end and year-end closings.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and local authorities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
• Partner with business stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and implement efficient finance structures and best practices.
• Contribute to finance transformation initiatives and ERP optimization.

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss accounting, tax, and statutory reporting.
• Experience with in the automotive industry is essential.
• Proven ability to improve processes, establish structure, and implement effective financial controls.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong Excel skills.
• Fluent German and English are a key requirement.
