LoD) and brings together independent Risk Stewards and specialist capabilities across intelligence, analytics, technology, detection and investigation. We provide robust oversight and constructive challenge to the First Line of Defence (1

LoD), helping to ensure that FC risks are identified, managed and controlled effectively and consistently.

FC risk is a key non-financial risk, spanning areas such as fraud, money laundering, bribery and corruption, sanctions, terrorist and proliferation financing, export controls and tax evasion. What you will do

As a Manager in Financial Crime, you’ll help strengthen the end-to-end oversight of the FC control environment by turning data, reporting and reviews into clear, decision-ready insight. You’ll support the delivery of core stewardship activities such as governance pack production, trend and heat-map analysis, issue and action tracking, and read-across from assurance outputs so that key themes and vulnerabilities are surfaced early and addressed.

You’ll also contribute to the upkeep of Global FC policy and supporting guidance, helping drive consistency in how the FC framework is applied across markets, while partnering with stakeholders to progress change initiatives and improve risk outcomes.

  • Provide FC control oversight and challenge by supporting Global/Regional FC Risk Stewards with analysis of issue management, FLOD / (2

    LoD) controls, and inherent/residual risk assessments;escalate and communicate overdue issues/actions to stakeholders in line with guidance
  • Perform cross-LoD read-across and thematic insight by reviewing 2

    LoD / 3

    LoD outputs (e.g., Audit and Assurance reports), producing read-across actions for Risk Stewards, and maintaining summary trackers (e.g., Audit Summary Matrix) to identify recurring themes and vulnerabilities
  • Maintain and enhance the FC framework and documentation by supporting updates to Global FC Policy and related guidance, coordinating consultations with Risk Stewards and stakeholders, and ensuring consistent application of the FC framework across markets
  • Translate Management Information (MI) into actionable stewardship insight by analysing 1

    LoD control MI, heatmaps, Key Control Indicators (KCI) / Key Risk Indicators (KRI) metrics and trend data to highlight gaps, enhancements or emerging risks; coordinate with 1

    LoD and escal control failures and risk hotspots
  • Deliver governance reporting and stakeholder management by preparing and designing governance packs and dashboards that present the key data needed to assess the FC control environment, and by supporting responses, follow-ups and stakeholder challenge (including exception reporting) to help discharge Non-Financial Risk Owner (NFRO) obligations
  • Support change, projects and risk assessments by coordinating projects and market-led change initiatives, reviewing business proposals and key risk artefacts (e.g., Root Cause Analyses (RCA), control descriptions, residual risk narratives, trigger events and incident follow-ups), and contributing to thematic reviews and training needs analysis
