Consultant – Lombard Credit Risk

Job Responsibilities

• Provide risk-oriented advice on all aspects of Lombard lending, including guarantees, collateral, financing, and permitted uses of funds
• Analyze complex client inquiries and identify, analyze, calculate, and assess Lombard credit risks, including derivatives
• Submit credit applications to the Risk Committee for decision-making
• Prepare credit documentation and contracts, and verify that credit files are complete
• Process and monitor approved transactions
• Monitor Lombard credit portfolios to reduce margin call risks
• Monitor specific credit limits and control the adequacy of collateral coverage
• Continuously monitor approved Lombard credit decisions and identify adverse developments at an early stage
• Handle credit breaches and implement appropriate measures, such as in the event of margin calls
• Support Relationship Managers with regular and exceeded credit limits, particularly in connection with complex Lombard loans
• Review applications with regard to collateral and quality, including remediation in cooperation with Relationship Managers and Risk Analysts
• Support Relationship Managers in client-facing activities to improve portfolio profitability and performance
• Contribute to the digital development of departmental processes and test new solutions
• Handle ad hoc projects

• Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education, bachelor's, or master's degree in economics, banking and finance, or law
• Solid professional experience in lending at a private bank, particularly in Lombard loans, mortgages, corporate lending, financing, or a related field, or in credit risk management
• Knowledge of life insurance products
• Interest in financial markets and banking products
