The Associate / Investment Manager is part of the team that manages European secondaries activities at Schroders Capital.

• Conduct due diligence of European secondaries opportunities, with a focus on GP-led transactions and other complex transactions
• Play an active role in sourcing, due diligence, negotiating, executing and monitoring of secondaries transactions
• Make investment recommendations and present opportunities to the Investment Committee
• Conduct industry research and develop insights relevant for secondaries
• Prepare client pitches and requests, and participate in business development

• Proven financial experience: 3 - 7 years working in private equity secondaries, direct private equity, investment banking or corporate finance
• A very good degree in Natural Sciences, Economics, Finance or Business Administration from a reputable university
• Excellent command of English, German language is a plus

• A flexible, adaptable and collaborative great teammate with a positive and "can do" attitude
• A professional who can manage multiple responsibilities and time-sensitive deliverables with a high degree of quality and accuracy, while maintaining personal and professional integrity
• Curious, with strong discipline, clear desire for success, and attention to detail
