EMEA Recruitment is partnering exclusively with a global organization who specialises in Financial services and Investment management to appoint an HR Business Partner, based in Switzerland, to join its regional HR function.
The HR Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to the Swiss business, delivering end-to-end HR support and working closely with leaders to drive people initiatives aligned with overall business objectives.
This position plays a key role in embedding HR policies, frameworks, and best practices, while fostering a positive employee experience and supporting organizational effectiveness.
The role has broad responsibility across all core HR activities, including employee relations, talent and performance management, recruitment, learning and development, compensation and benefits, compliance, and organizational change.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary HR contact for employees and managers across the Swiss site, providing guidance on employee relations matters and ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes in line with Swiss employment legislation and internal policies.
- Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, talent identification, performance management, and development initiatives, supporting both short- and long-term people strategies.
- Manage compensation and benefits activities, including the administration of local programs and support of annual salary review and incentive processes in line with internal frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to HR-led projects and organizational change initiatives, participating in transformation programs and supporting effective communication, engagement, and adoption across the business.
- Minimum of 10+ years’ HR experience, ideally gained within an international or matrixed organization, with strong exposure to employee relations and people advisory work.
- Solid working knowledge of Swiss employment law and local HR practices, combined with experience across performance management, talent development, and HR operations.
- Comfortable working with HR systems and digital tools, able to operate autonomously, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, excellent communication and influencing skills, and a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
- Financial/investment industry experience needed
- Fluent in English as the primary business language; additional European languages are considered an advantage.
