Trainee corporate finance lawyer who handles complex business transactions, focusing on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity, corporate restructuring, and equity/debt financing. Key duties include drafting/negotiating transaction documents, managing due diligence, advising on corporate governance, and ensuring regulatory compliance. They require strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.

• Transaction Execution: Leading M&A, joint ventures, and private equity deals from inception to closing.
• Drafting and Negotiation: Preparing share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and investment documentation.
• Corporate Advice: Advising on company law,, corporate restructuring
• Financing: Securing corporate finance, including debt financing, loans, and equity investments.
• Due Diligence: Managing the legal due diligence process to identify risks in corporate deals.
• Regulatory Compliance: Advising on compliance with listing rules and securities regulations.

• Experience: Typically 3-6+ years PQE (Post-Qualified Experience) in corporate finance or M&A, often within a leading corporate team.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of company law, finance documentation, and corporate tax implications.
• Soft Skills: Strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and ability to manage, client relationships.
• Management: Ability to manage junior associates and trainees.

• Qualified solicitor or training
• Excellent academic background.

You will have trained in public practice with a corporate law firm (national or international).
