Job Description & How to Apply Below

The Mission

My Bike Plan  is scaling rapidly, and we need a Commercial Operations Leader to take the helm of our daily business. While the CEO focuses on expansion and brand vision,
you own the execution of the Swiss entity.

You are effectively the General Manager for Switzerland
. Your mandate is to run a profitable, efficient, and scalable operation. You are the "Integrator"—the bridge connecting Marketing, Sales, Logistics, and Finance into a single, synchronized engine.

You report directly to the CEO. Your job is to answer and execute the most critical question in the company:
"How do we ensure every bike sold is delivered efficiently, creates a happy customer, and leaves a healthy profit margin?"

Tasks

Your Core Responsibilities

1. Commercial Performance & P&L Management:
You are accountable for the operational financial health of the Swiss business. You don't just report numbers; you influence them by managing costs and efficiency.

  • P&L Ownership: Manage the budget and ensure we hit our EBITDA targets.
  • Cash Flow Operations: oversee liquidity and payments, ensuring we optimize cash for inventory and growth.

2. Financial Operations & Controlling:
You act as the internal commercial finance lead. You don’t need to be a CPA, but you must be financially fluent.

  • External Liaison: You manage the relationship with our external accounting firm (Treuhand), ensuring they have what they need and auditing their output.
  • Margin Guardian: You ruthlessly protect our Gross Margin % by monitoring discounts, purchasing costs (EK), and ensuring we utilize "Skonto" (early payment discounts).
  • Unit Economics: You track CAC relative to LTV to ensure our growth remains profitable.

3. Operational Leadership:
You lead the day-to-day engine. You manage the team leads across Operations, Sales, and After-Sales to ensure execution is flawless.

  • Supply Chain: You ensure inventory levels match marketing forecasts so we never miss a sale due to stockouts.
  • Logistics Management: You negotiate with partners to lower shipping costs and drive down the "problem rate."
  • Process Architecture: You build and improve the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that allow us to scale volume without adding chaos.

4. The "Integrator" (Linking the Departments):
You ensure no department works in a silo. You are the glue that ensures:

  • Marketing campaigns are backed by sufficient Inventory
    .
  • Sales promises are feasible for Operations to deliver.
  • After-Sales feedback (e.g., defects) is fed back to Procurement to fix the root cause.

Your North Star KPIs

You will be measured on the operational health of the business:

  • EBITDA: Delivering the budgeted profit for the Swiss entity.
  • Gross Margin %: Maintaining target margins (>25%) through strict cost control.
  • Bike Margin (CHF): Maximizing the absolute cash profit per unit.
  • CLV (Customer Lifetime Value): Driving strategies for accessories and recurring revenue.
  • NPS / CSAT: Ensuring operational efficiency enhances, not hurts, the customer experience.
Requirements

What You Bring to the Table

  • 5-7+ Years in Operations, Finance, or Commercial Management: You have experience running a business unit, a country team, or a complex operational department.
  • Commercial Fluency: You are comfortable with P&Ls, margins, and cash flow, even if you aren't an accountant. You understand how operations impact the bottom line.
  • Total Trust & Ownership: You treat the company’s money and team as your own. You are the "Safe Hands" the CEO trusts to run the ship.
  • Data-Driven Execution: You don’t guess. You use data (Conversion Pace, Return Rates, CAC) to fix bottlenecks.
  • A Builder’s Mindset: You aren’t here to just manage existing processes. You are here to professionalize them so we can scale.
Benefits

Why This Role?

  • Impact: You are not a cog in a machine; you are the engine. You drive the daily success of the company.
  • Autonomy: You are effectively running the Swiss business operations. You hold the authority to fix what is broken.
  • Partnership: You work closely with the Founder/CEO, enabling growth by providing operational stability.
  • Growth: We are one of Switzerland’s fastest-growing e-bike players. As we scale, your role and responsibility scale with us.

I am not looking for some corporate person that has been within teams of doing something, I am looking for a DOOER, someone that can prove to me they have done it themselves before! They can do operations and finances! They can lead! And most importantly:
Someone I could also go for a beer with after work:
Because I dont work with anyone that I cant do that and have a great time (or bike ride, or run, or anything thats personal) !
