  • Provide overall operational and strategic management of the NCCR and coordinate all non-scientific activities across the network
  • Directly support the NCCR directorate in governance, planning, reporting and day to day coordination
  • Manage the NCCR network including collaboration between universities, hospitals and research institutions across cantonal borders
  • Ensure full compliance with SNSF regulations and reporting obligations
  • Act as the main contact point for the SNSF Administrative Offices and ensure efficient and transparent communication
  • Coordinate and consolidate scientific, financial and strategic reports in collaboration with project leaders and host institutions
  • Support financial planning, budget monitoring and resource allocation together with institutional finance units
  • Coordinate the management team and supervise administrative staff
  • Support evaluations, reviews and site visits by national and international panels
  • Contribute to communication, outreach and long term sustainability of the NCCR structures
Your profile
  • Proven management experience in Switzerland ideally in an academic or research environment
  • Solid knowledge of financial planning, budgeting and reporting Experience in managing or coordinating large scale research projects or university consortia across cantonal borders
  • Natural science background with strong understanding of interdisciplinary research
  • Strong familiarity with the Swiss research, university and hospital landscape
  • Ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent conceptual, organisational and communicative skills
  • Fluent in German, French and English written and spoken
  • Political skills and established professional contacts within Swiss research and policy landscapes welcome
