About the UN Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein
The UN Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein (GCNSL) is the official platform for the United Nations Global Compact Initiative (UNGC) in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. We support companies to align their corporate strategies and operations with the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption and to take actions to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
By providing practical knowledge, tools, resources, events and training programmes, our ambition is to accelerate and scale the global collective impact of business.

Your responsibilities- Full strategic and operational leadership of the Country Network
- Develop and implement strategies aligned with the UN Global Compact mission
- Represent GCNSL externally at events, conferences, and in the media
- Ensure financial stability through membership acquisition, retention, and fundraising
- Manage stakeholder relations at national, European, and international levels
- Oversee HR, finance, and compliance processes
- Liaise with UN Global Compact HQ & European Hub, Country Networks, Swiss and Liechtenstein governments, NGOs, universities, and other partners
- Proven leadership experience in a complex organization, ideally also in non-profit organization management
- Excellent communication skills mandatory:fluent in English, German, and French(Italian is an advantage)
- Open-minded, organized, and decisive personality with strong management and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of responsible business conduct and corporate responsibility
- Strong business acumen and communicates effectively in business language
- Academic or professional degree and experience in relevant fields
- Willingness to travel regularly within Switzerland/Liechtenstein and internationally
