Team Lead Business Solution Design & Delivery

As AXA XL continues to invest in its end-to-end capabilities, the Business Solution Design & Delivery Lead will support cross-functional / cross-BU programs in the solution design and delivery. Building on knowledge of processes and systems, they will partner with business units, IT and other functions to ensure the successful roll-out of the initiatives.

Responsibilities

The Team Lead Business Solution Design & Delivery will be responsible for :

  • People Management :
    Will own the day to day aspects of people management covering hiring, onboarding, development, performance management and support of individual team members. Further the HR administration including time tracking, holiday tracking, performance tracking, input in compensation recommendations is part of the role.
  • Team building :
    Ensure a solid team structure and team bonding is achieved for your sub team. Allow knowledge transfer between colleagues from different practices in order to broaden the skillset and expertise of the individual team members.
  • Program Oversight :
    Will oversee the successful engagement of the Business Solution Design and Delivery sub team you are responsible for on the various projects by providing guidance on approach and oversight of deliveries.
  • Methodologies :
    Ensure identification of methodology training needs of various services provided by BSDD across the pool of resources. Ensure consistency and quality of standards and documentation across programs and areas. Foster a learning environment by sharing best practices and lessons learned across team members.
  • Stakeholder Engagement :
    Drive ongoing stakeholder engagement to obtain feedback on program execution and performance of your team members. Take actions as needed.
  • External resource management : manage external resources from Vendor process, onboarding, performance and delivery tracking to time tracking and invoicing process .

Team Leads will act as individual contributors with the specific project role assigned and cover in this responsibility the following areas :

This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities to ensure Operational Readiness in our programmes of work focussing on :

  • identifying business solutions to various problems through workshops and interviews, conducting analyses and documenting deliverables, manage C-suite level stakeholders to drive the best business outcome, defining and documenting target designs and outcomes for strategic business decisions, applying change management tools and methodologies to drive adoption to enable full benefit realization, providing product ownership expertise, defining processes for continuous improvement, acting as a Business Advisor and ensure superior quality in deliverables and documentation.
  • Develop close relationship with key business stakeholder of your project which allows you to act as thought partner and dare to challenge to achieve the optimum business outcome.
  • Understand interdependencies between different change initiatives and manage them proactively. Own the oversight of multiple change initiatives and develop a holistic change strategy which is targeted to your key stakeholder community.
  • Provide guidance / assistance to other key team members assigned to a development role / opportunity

The candidate will be expected to independently identify and deliver solutions on large cross functional programs. Coordination and program wide leadership within BSDD deliverables and strong stakeholder management is a key component for a successful delivery of this role.

In this role you will report to the Head of Business Solution Design and Delivery.
