Event Manager / Planner
Location: Zürich
This position is a vital part of our Special Projects product team, focused on managing our product collaborations and leading the relationships with our high-profile talent and entertainment partners. You will work closely with key stakeholders in product, marketing, commercial and legal, to lead our collaborators through all phases of the partnership: from first concept to final launch.
Your Mission- Be the main point of contact for our talent and entertainment partners when it comes to product creation, nurturing the relationship and supporting their needs long‑term.
- Maintain a holistic vision of how the partner is integrated into all aspects of the business.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and key stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans across product creation and go‑to‑market.
- Lead and champion the project internally and externally from start to finish.
- Lead and motivate cross‑functional project teams, providing clear direction and ensuring accountability.
- Partner with product managers and designers across footwear, apparel and accessories, maintaining a holistic vision of the collaboration from head to toe.
- Provide guidance to marketing and commercial teams during the go‑to‑market phase of campaign, distribution and launch planning, representing the product team and the partner in all conversations.
- Monitor and track project progress, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and communicate project updates to stakeholders.
- Take part in activities related to Special Projects, for example seasonal presentations, key merchandising milestones and sell‑ins.
- Enjoy rolling up your sleeves and being hands‑on throughout all stages of the project. No day will be the same, you will need to adapt and keep an open, curious mind.
- 7+ years of experience working in cultural industries: for a fashion or sports brand, in the entertainment or music business, ideally in a role focused on celebrity or partnership management. Project management skills are a high priority.
- Strong passion for and understanding of all things contemporary culture, and the players, consumers and competitors within that landscape.
- Knowledge of global markets and key cities. Experience working internationally.
- Ability to champion complex projects over long‑term and rally cross‑functional teams behind a common mission.
- Highly collaborative, self‑motivated and empathic - a true team player.
- Detail‑oriented, structured and extremely organized.
- Affinity for physical product and its creation process.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. A second language is a plus.
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed.
