Your roleOver the past year, we’ve focused on building a strong top-of-funnel foundation. With this role, we’re taking the next step by expanding our scope into the mid‑funnel, strengthening how we position, explain, and scale the value of our products across the customer journey. This is a critical addition to our team, and we’re excited for it.
As Product and Customer Marketing Manager, you will own and shape grape’s product marketing function from the ground up. You’ll act as the strategic link between product, sales, customer success, and marketing, ensuring our products are clearly positioned, well understood, and compelling for our target audiences.
With a strong product marketing mindset and a customer‑first approach, you’ll define how grape talks about its products, internally and externally. From go‑to‑market strategy and product launches to sales enablement and customer storytelling, your work will directly influence adoption, growth, and long‑term customer value.
You’ll operate with a high level of ownership, thrive in ambiguity, and play a key role in scaling grape’s commercial impact as we continue to grow.
What you’ll do- Build grape’s product marketing function from the ground up, defining scope, priorities, and ways of working in close collaboration with product, sales, customer success, and brand and marketing.
- Shape and execute product positioning, messaging, and value propositions across our portfolio, ensuring clarity, consistency, and strong differentiation for our target personas across campaigns, content, and channels.
- Lead go‑to‑market strategies for new product launches and major updates, from narrative development to internal enablement and external activation.
- Translate product features into compelling, customer‑facing stories that clearly articulate benefits, outcomes, and use cases across industries, segments.
- Develop deep customer and market insights by partnering with sales and customer success teams, conducting interviews, and analysing feedback to inform messaging, campaigns, and product conversations.
- Create and maintain core product marketing assets, including pitch decks, one‑pagers, white papers, website messaging, customer stories, help articles, release notes, FAQs, and other enablement materials.
- Enable sales and customer‑facing teams with the right tools, narratives, and training to confidently position grape’s products throughout the full customer lifecycle.
- Define success metrics for product marketing initiatives, track performance, and continuously iterate based on data, feedback, and business priorities.
- What matters most is excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong sense for storytelling and clarity. We aim to make our product understandable and relatable by selling benefits not features. You will need the skills to translate complex product features into customer centric benefits that resonate with our target audiences.
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing or a closely related role. Proven experience owning product positioning, messaging, and go‑to‑market initiatives, having built or scaled a product marketing function before ideally in B2B, SaaS, or a high‑growth environment.
