I’m currently supporting a growing Swiss cybersecurity software company specialising exclusively in email security and phishing protection.

As an independent European provider, they have built a strong and highly satisfied enterprise customer base and position themselves as a focused challenger to large international vendors. To accelerate further growth, they are expanding their Business Development team.

The Role

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will take ownership of proactive lead generation and pipeline development across Switzerland and Germany.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining your own outbound pipeline (email, phone, Linked In, video).
  • Identifying and approaching technical decision-makers (e.g., CISO, IT leadership) within enterprise accounts.
  • Qualifying inbound and outbound leads.
  • Scheduling and preparing meetings for the Sales team.
  • Collaborating closely with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Partners.
  • Maintaining activities and contacts in Hub Spot.
  • Contributing to the continuous development of BDR processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Representing the company at events and webinars.
  • Minimum 3 years of outbound B2B software, IT, or cybersecurity sales experience.
  • Proven success in lead generation and booking meetings with enterprise customers.
  • Experience working with CRM systems (ideally Hub Spot) and modern sales tools.
  • Strong communication skills across channels.
  • Structured, self-organised working style with a clear hunter mentality.
  • Strong interest in IT security and technical understanding.
  • Fluent in German (written and spoken) and strong in English.
  • A key role in scaling an established and successful cybersecurity provider.
  • High level of ownership and direct impact on sales success.
