As a Sales Associate, your primary focus is on business development and active customer acquisition within a predefined portfolio of target customers. You will receive clearly defined target accounts from us and will proactively approach them to build new relationships, create meaningful conversations, and secure qualified customer meetings. From day one, you will be closely supported by an experienced mentor who will help you strengthen your sales expertise and gradually build and expand your own customer base successfully.
YourResponsibilities Business Development & Customer Acquisition
- Active business development and customer acquisition within a defined target customer portfolio
- Outbound activities with a strong focus on phone-based acquisition, including cold calling
- Approaching and engaging relevant decision-makers at target customers
- Scheduling, preparing, and following up on qualified customer meetings
- Consistent follow-up activities and structured pipeline development
- Preparing structured call guides and introductory messaging together with your mentor
- Conducting initial discovery conversations to understand customer needs
- Using value messaging to clearly articulate customer benefits
- Qualifying opportunities and developing them further together with experienced sales colleagues
- Close collaboration with a dedicated mentor supporting your professional and sales development
- Regular feedback on acquisition approach, communication style, and customer interactions
- Step-by-step development towards independently building and expanding customer relationships
- Establishing a clear and disciplined sales operating rhythm
- Accurate documentation of all activities in relevant sales tools
- Close collaboration with Sales, your mentor, and leadership
- Initial experience in B2B sales, business development, or strong motivation to start a career in sales
- High motivation for active customer acquisition, especially phone-based outreach
- Understanding that acquisition can be challenging – and the determination to stay persistent
- High resilience and perseverance
- Proactive, structured, and self-driven working style
