We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager for Belgium. The chosen candidate will drive sales growth, expand market presence, and establish strategic partnerships within the region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets and enhance market penetration.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify opportunities, understand the competitive landscape, and monitor industry trends. Adjust strategies based on competitor activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and potential clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and support to foster client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals, enhancing their performance through continuous coaching, training, and guidance.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to pinpoint new business opportunities, develop tailored solutions, and secure new accounts.
  • Partner closely with the General Manager to craft long-term business plans and strategies for sustainable growth.
  • Generate regular reports and analyses on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities, using data-driven insights for strategic adjustments.
  • Effectively manage the sales territory, including key account mapping, prioritizing sales activities, and optimizing travel schedules.
  • Work across functions with marketing, operations, and technical support teams to ensure cohesive sales initiatives.
  • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated sales management experience, preferably within the industrial automation or electronics sectors.
  • Deep knowledge of the Belgian market and experience in managing direct competitors.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
