Join our dynamic team as we drive strategic growth in the High Voltage (HV) Turnkey Substation business for industries and data centers! In this pivotal role, you will proactively develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring we meet and exceed our growth targets for South West Europe (Switzerland, Spain, France, Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, Portugal and Greece). Imagine engaging with key clients to shape project specifications and leading the creation of winning technical and commercial proposals for complex projects.
Your expertise will be crucial in expanding our market share in a competitive energy sector, all while contributing to our ambitious ‘30 x 30’ program.
- Proactively generate new HV turnkey substation opportunities across South & West Europe, focusing on industries and data centers.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline with clear ownership to achieve and exceed growth targets.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and growth areas to continuously refine and adapt the sales strategy.
- Engage early with key customers (TSOs, utilities, industrials, data centers) to shape project requirements and position integrated HV solutions.
- Develop strategic account plans and act as a trusted technical and commercial advisor, leveraging expertise in substation technologies and turnkey delivery.
- Lead complex bid preparation, internal collaboration, and contract negotiations, while tracking KPIs and pipeline performance through CRM tools.
- Academic background in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field like mechanical or energy engineering.
- With over 8 years of extensive experience in the HV transmission and distribution sector, you have a proven track record in sales and business development.
- You demonstrate success in pipeline development, deal shaping, and closing complex, high-value technical projects, preferably in an EPC or turnkey environment.
- Deep technical knowledge of HV substation technologies (AIS, GIS, transformers) and turnkey project execution.
- You possess strong influencing skills and strategic thinking abilities, enabling you to build and maintain key customer relationships effectively.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory. Any additional language will be considered a plus.
- Availability for business travel within the South West Europe countries.
