Key Account Executive, FSI, Cloud

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of sales experience in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS or IaaS products and platforms.
• 10 years of experience closing enterprise cloud or technology agreements with Tier-1 financial institutions or enterprise customers in other industries.

• Experience with large, complex commercial and legal negotiations working with procurement, legal, and business teams.
• Experience promoting Google Cloud computing technologies to large and complex organizations across geographies.
• Experience with Cloud transformation, navigating complex organizational change, data residency, and risk governance.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and import and export talent and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.
• Proven track record engaging C-suite executives (COO, CIO, Chief Architect) across the Swiss Financial Services industry.
• Demonstrated success leading multi-year cloud migrations and driving enterprise AI and data adoption strategies.

In this role, your mission is to help reimagine banking across Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. You will partner with leading financial institutions to solve their critical challenges, from modernizing core infrastructure to deploying AI  will combine deep industry expertise with the best of Google Cloud and Alphabet, and bring thinking and technical innovation to DACH banking. You will challenge assumptions and turn bold ideas into measurable impact for customers, clients, and Google.

• Build and maintain relationships with senior bank executives to understand their business priorities.
• Lead teams of technical and business specialists to design, negotiate, and execute large technology agreements.
• Develop strategies to expand cloud adoption across core banking operations.
• Guide customers on adopting artificial intelligence, data analytics, and modern software platforms.
• Partner with internal teams and external providers to ensure secure, compliant project delivery.
