Senior Business Developer – German UHNWIs & Family Offices

For an international wealth management organisation, we are looking for a senior business developer with a strong network among German ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) and family offices.

The clear focus of the role is on developing new business. Based in Zurich, you will open doors in the German market, establish new client relationships and support their long-term development. We are looking for someone who knows the market well, has credible access to relevant decision-makers and is comfortable taking the initiative.

• Develop new relationships with German UHNWIs, family offices and multi-family offices
• Identify relevant prospects and turn initial contacts into concrete business opportunities
• Build and manage your own pipeline
• Prepare and deliver pitches, proposals and client presentations
• Organise and attend meetings, roadshows, round tables and client events
• Understand individual client needs and involve the appropriate internal specialists
• Monitor developments in the German family office market and use these insights to support business development

• Several years of relevant client-facing experience within financial services or a comparable environment
• A strong track record in client acquisition and business development
• An established network among German UHNWIs and family offices
• A good understanding of the German market and access to relevant decision-makers
• An entrepreneurial, self-driven approach and the ability to work independently
• Strong communication, presentation and listening skills
• Fluency in German and English
• Willingness to travel regularly within Germany

The role is based in Zurich, and the German market will be developed from Switzerland. Candidates not currently based in Zurich must be willing to relocate.
