ETH Zürich is offering a fully funded PhD position focusing on high-order harmonic generation spectroscopy in noble-gas liquids. The project aims to explore ultrafast electron dynamics and bridge gas-phase and liquid-phase techniques. Ideal candidates must hold a Master’s degree in physics or physical chemistry, possess experimental skills, and have a strong interest in ultrafast laser science. Successful applicants will have access to cutting-edge laser systems, be part of an international research environment, and receive comprehensive training.
The preferred start date is in the first half of 2026.
