Location: Zürich
ETH Zürich in Zurich seeks a doctoral candidate to develop dual-compatibility hydrogel scaffolds using dynamic covalent chemistries. You will synthesize PEG- and hyaluronic acid-based DCHs with tunable stiffness and relaxation times and characterize them with rheology and nano-indentation.
The project advances mechanobiology by applying tailor-made DCH scaffolds to understand how matrix viscoelasticity governs tissue-level processes in cartilage and cancer contexts.
