Celerion is one of the world's leading bioanalytical contract research organizations and has been supporting pharmaceutical and biotech drug development programs around the world for more than 40 years.
Due to the steady growth of our company and to strengthen our bioanalytical laboratory in Fehraltorf / Zurich, we are looking for a
- You will convert bioanalytical assay workflows defined by R&D into robust, documented and supportable robotic routines.
- Your primary tasks would consist of programming using the VENUS and EVOware software, as well as regularly assessing our robots’ performance.
- As part of our team, you will become a key component to successfully use the liquid handling robots to improve the performance and throughput of our assays, and you will help Celerion maintain its competitive position in the market
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a life-science discipline (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology). (
Please note:
this role targets a life-science background; engineering degrees are not the intended profile) - Solid understanding of immunoassays and/or chromatographic methods
- At least 1 year demonstrated hands‑on experience programming Hamilton liquid‑handing robots using VENUS software to support automated workflows in a regulated laboratory environment
- Good written and spoken German is beneficial
- Highly collaborative and service-oriented mindset
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a hands‑on approach
- Structured, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
- Able to balance development work with operational support
Experience with general‑purpose programming languages such as Python, VB or SQL is beneficial but not required; proven Hamilton VENUS method‑programming experience is essential.
