I studied at Blue Ocean Language school in 2010, I improved a lot my English!
The accommodation that i stayed it was perfect, mainly if you want to go with your family! It was my case. Every night, I used to go to the Grand Prix Bar.
There you can play pool and make a good conversation with local people.
Thanks for everything! I will miss you guys !

I came with my little boy, and I knew that it would be difficult for me. Staying alone, studying and looking after my child. I never felt alone here. Tanja, the owner, made me feel at home, like we shared the same family. And now, after months, we are from the same family.
I had all support in the classroom from all the teachers that I needed and never felt alone.
So, after 8 months here, I just want to say thanks Blue Ocean Language School for everything, the support and for helping me improve my English.

I decided to come to South Africa to learn English. To be honest South Africa is not famous for learning English in South Korea, so I decided to come here because lots of Korean students decide to go to Canada, America, Australia and England to learn English and I thought it would be better to go where there are not so many Koreans. When I got to Cape Town I was surprised to find many Korean students. While I studied in Cape Town I had to attend class with 15 other students, nobody was interested in me who struggled with English and had a fear to speak the language. Fortunately two of my friends introduced the Blue Ocean Language School to me. I heard that Tanja manage each class with only a few students and this sounded perfect for me. I decided to join Blue Ocean Language School and it was the best choice for me. All the teachers helped me escape my English fear. Of course I also made many friends and I am visiting one of my friends next month in Mozambique. I got brave enough to speak English to everybody and can go home confident that I improved my English skills.

Finally, I want to say “Thank you Blue Ocean Language School, my school”.

For me, Blue Ocean Language School in Jeffreys Bay was absolutely the right choice for a study trip. I have made substantial progress in all areas of English language and in a wonderful atmosphere. Tanja, the head of Blue Ocean Language School and Dick, the owner of the Residence didn't make me feel like just a paying guest but part of a large family! School and accommodation are next to each other, so that makes it very convenient. With Tanja or the other teachers always around with all activities outside the school. And even if they did not have time, Dick was in for some fun! An absolute all-round support system! At the Residence you will find clean rooms in a stylish atmosphere unusual for hostels. The perfect place for using what you have learned from the School and to meet people from all over the world. "

Before I decided to come to South Africa, I expected to see a natural South African atmosphere. I also expected to see and experience real South African life style but, unfortunately I couldn’t have the opportunities in Cape Town. As a big capital city Cape Town has its advantages on the other hand if you don’t have enough English skills you don’t get the chance to communicate with others. It is true for 6 months my English skills were not improving much, then I came and studied at Blue Ocean Language School in Jeffreys Bay and I could feel that my English skills were improving dramatically. I could read English articles and understand them. The teachers also focused on my writing, listening and speaking skills and gave me all the practise I needed.

When I recall my time at Blue Ocean Language School I can say I was happy and satisfied.
