I attended introduction classes at 3 private schools and Thai Language Hut came out as the clear winner: teachers differentiate themselves by working on pronounciation (Thai language has 5 tones and if you pronounce a word with a different tone, no Thai would understand you) and discussion, supported by applied grammar and vocabulary. The school is conveniently located in the heart of the Sukhumvit district, close by the sky train station and Emporium shopping mall.

I followed their beginners course and they customized a shorter intermediate course for me as I didn't have the time for the full one.

I am American and my wife is Thai. We live in California and spend a lot of time in Thailand. Both of my children have some basic Thai skills but I wanted them to learn to read and write and to improve their conversational skills. Last summer they attended the Thai Language Hut in Bangkok. The location is very convenient and their facility is very nice. Both of my children had individual instruction from native Thai speakers who spoke English very well and knew how to teach to children. I think this is one of the better language schools in Bangkok but it's not that well known. I highly recommend this school.

I like Thai Language Hut very much, and I like the way teachers work there. Classes and days spent in this school are lot of fun, and I am very proud for being able to speak Thai now. International management and punctuality coupled with Thai friendliness.

Teaching methods coming from consistent source materials, complemented by friendly and competent teaching staff making TLH a great place to learn.

Note: I agree with Mike's statement as I have also learnt to read moderate Thai in around 35 hours whilst being far from a model student.

I know the proprietors of the school and have overseen classes, as I have some experience of teaching in and around Bangkok I can honestly say Thai Language Hut is among the best private language centres in town. A very laid back atmosphere and stressless, friendly approach to learning and studying is the norm here, the students seem happy and content and the material is all A-Grade , coming from Cambridge University press, this renouned curriculum is helping Thai's learn faster and better than other texts may allow. The Thai language courses seem to be very decent too. Well worth a look, get in touch with the english manager or his wife, they'll be more than happy to talk through everything with you. Definitely recommended!

I studied with them some months ago and was extremely pleased with the results. They taught me to read and write Thai within about 30 hours; an amazing result.
