Rhythmic Gymnastics (English / Russian)
Young girls who love music and dance, thrive on creativity and originality, and are challenged by complete body and physical skill mastery are drawn to the sport of rhythmic gymnastics.

Combining the elements of ballet, gymnastics, theatrical dance and apparatus manipulation makes this Olympic sport unique and fascinating. Rhythmic gymnastics program is designed to develop flexibility, strength, agility, balance, hand-eye coordination, grace and musicality. Students learn to work with 5 pieces of hand-held apparatus: rope, hoop, ball, clubs and ribbon. The uniqueness of this sport consists in ability to manipulate the piece of apparatus while performing the body movements. Therefore, it requires high-developed coordination and precision. Whether for competition, recreation or performance there is the need to link movements together in routine, choreographed to music.

This program is especially for you! In the company of other Russian children, it will be so interesting and so easy!We have 4 levels for Russian Classes. Groups are devided based on skills level.These Groups are suitable for fluent and non-fluent children, since they learn from peers (provided parents do homework with them). Kids learn to read and write using ABC books and “propisi”,they also have elements of oral speech enrichment .In a creative game-oriented environment children learn about Russia, learn poems by heart.

We offer Russian as Second Language for children 7 and older who hear Russian at home but respond in English (i.e. their Russian is passive) and for kids who do not speak Russian.

Latin Jazz (English)
Be prepared to move and have fun! Latin Jazz is a popular style performed with energy in class, in social settings, and by choreographers working with famous stars! This session focuses on classic jazz moves with a Latin twist, using cha-cha, salsa, samba, and other rhythms. Movement will be accompanied by Latin music obtained from imported CDs and club mixes danced in the US. Participants will practice two movement styles in one!

The Bush Centre For Ballet, Sandy Springs

Located in Sandy Springs, Fulton County, Georgia, The Bush Centre For Ballet offers ballet and pointe lessons for children and adults, including pre-ballet I for 4-5 year olds, pre-ballet II for 5-7 year olds, ballet I & II for children of 8 years upwards as well as pointe lessons for children of 11 years upwards.

Classes are offered on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday afternoons & Saturday morning. Adult stretch class is on Wednesday morning. The Director Ms. Bush believes in creating a healthy environment in which students will learn to appreciate the history and various techniques of classical ballet.

Our children’s and teenager´s classes are designed to foster those skills appropriate to their age group and may incorporate respect, sharing, participation, leadership, listening, following directions and self-discipline. This is achieved through a methodology of instruction created by the Royal Academy of Dance in order to promote healthy and happy self-images in a fun, controlled class environment.

Open Door Preschool, Augusta

Located in Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia, Open Door Preschool offers infant, toddler and preschool programs for children of 14 months to 5 years. The school was founded in 1964 when a group of parents opened the first integrated non-sectarian non-profit preschool in Augusta. It was the only preschool with an ‘open door’ policy and was entirely administered by the parents. Today, after 45 years, Open Door Preschool continues to provide a nurturing environment for children.
